Run command in background

  • ☑ Run in Background

It would be very nice to be able to run things independent of the terminal altogether. If one really needs shell capabilities with "Run in background" checked, then specifying the shell like /bin/bash -c ... in the actual command could be used, or a shell script could be specified.

    My Reasoning

I use iTerm, which doesn't seem to be working. This may or may not be due to the fact that iTerm.app is a choice but I'm actually using iTerm 3.app. The actual built-in Terminal app does work, but I do not use it, so I'm left to specify mycommand & exit so the window will close, and even then the application does not really "exit," the window just closes.
