Freeter AppImage doesn't run on Linux Mint

  • Recently moved to Linux from Windows in my other laptop, where I've been using Freeter for more than half a year. Tried to download the AppImage file, made sure that it's executable via chmod +x and right click > permissions > allow to execute

Tried to double click but nothing happens. Right click > Execute also doesn't do anything. Via terminal I tried to open using ./Freeter.AppImage and it doesn't execute or do anything.

Here's an inxi of my system:

    CPU~Dual core Intel Core2 Duo T6400 (-MCP-) speed/max~1600/2000 MHz Kernel~4.10.0-38-generic i686 Up~2:21 Mem~914.7/1879.8MB Procs~200 Client~Shell inxi~2.2.35

I'm 32 bit Linux 18.3 XFCE. FUSE is also installed by default in Linux Mint. Let me know if Freeter for linux only works for 64bit arch.

  • Updates, anyone?
